Cathodoluminescence Mapping System

The Cathodoluminescence Mapping System is designed to simultaneously acquire, amplify, and digitize
the CL signal in three spectral ranges selected by the customer. The integrated microprocessor converts
the acquired data into bitmap files in real time and stores them in the device’s memory.

The sensor unit of the system is compatible with a scanning electron microscope. Analog signals from the three channels of the sensor unit are amplified to a level of up to 3 volts. Digital electronics allow the acquisition of ten thousand data points per second (0.1 msec per data point).
